Russell S. Nelson (90yrs) of Sutherlin, Oregon passed away July 10, 2010. He was born in Poplar, Wisconsin September 4, 1919. He attended school in Poplar, Wisconsin and graduated from Central High in Superior, Wisconsin and Superior State Teachers College in Superior, Wisconsin. He taught school in Hawthorne, Wisconsin and Sutherlin, Oregon. After quitting teaching he became an accountant and retired in 1981. He was preceded in death by his parents Martin and Beda Nelson of Poplar, Wisconsin, 3 brothers Edward, Lloyd, and Forrest Nelson and 1 sister Harriet. Survivors include his twin brother Gordon Nelson of Ohio and a sister Ethel H. Gulseth of Gresham, Oregon. At his request no funeral service will be held.
