Raymond Franklin Shepherd

Raymond F. Shepherd, 88, of Elkton passed away on February 13 in Roseburg with his sons Tim, Dan, and Rick by his side along with his grandson Sam. Born on October 17, 1937 in Visalia, California to Frank and Margaret Shepherd, Ray spent the large part of his life on a ranch near Elkton with his wife Judy who preceded him in death on August 6, 2020. Ray spent much of his life as a county trapper, logger, timber faller, and cattle rancher. He loved owning land and the enjoyment the ranch and yard brought his wife Judy.

Ray is survived by his sons Tim, Mike, Darrell, Dan, Rick, and his daughter Lori. A memorial service will be held at the Elkton Baptist Church on March 7 at 11 AM.
