Linda Carol George was born to the delight of her parents Thomas and Leona Rooke on February 5th, 1950. She lived a wonderful life up until the early morning of March 22nd, 2026 when she passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Linda met the love of her life in 1968 while she was visiting with a friend and the grandmother of her husband Tony. Tony was here from the United Kingdom visiting when the two met and fell in love. They immediately were drawn to one another and their relationship started and they spent time visiting with one another in England and in the United States. Tony and Linda married on April 15th, 1972 at First Christian Church where Reverend Sheets joined them in matrimony in a loving ceremony that turned into a life long commitment to one another. In sickness and in health Tony never backed down and was there day in and day out for Linda. The love they shared was one that isn't common these days. After marrying each other Tony and Linda began their own family when they had their first daughter Kelly Patricia George who was born on July 27th, 1973. A few short years later they had one more child, another daughter, Kimberly George who was born on July 24th 1978. After years of raising their own children, Kelly, their daughter, had Tony and Linda's first grandchild, Michael Heichel, who was born on August 15th, 1991. Next up was Nicole Heichel, born on Christmas Day in 1998 to the parents Kelly and Bartt Heichel. In the year 2000 Kimberly blessed her parents with their grandson Thomas George on April 27th. As the grandkids grew up over the years Linda was there every step of the way. She lived for her family and grandkids. They were her biggest blessing and she was the best grandmother to all of the kids. Linda admired children and even took up a business in childcare for many, many years. She was very amazing at what she did and if you had ever met her you knew she had a heart of gold. Throughout her life she held many roles in everyone's lives but being a grandma was her favorite. She was always ready to hold any baby she could. That was one of her favorite things in this world. Linda was the most, caring, loving and amazing woman to ever walk this earth. After many years Michael, her grandson, blessed Tony and Linda with their great grandchildren Peyton and Brayden Heichel. She lived for them just as she did for her grandchildren. It was an amazing sight seeing the joy in her eyes when the great grandkids came around. On April 2nd, 2026 Linda was laid to rest with her family by her side. As we all said our goodbyes we all knew she was already at the place that was calling her home. She was able to reunite with her parents and that's all she wanted. The grief we all feel is immense but we know she is in a better place with Jesus by her side.
