Laurence R. "Larry" Burr

LARRY R. BURR 73, of Roseburg, Oregon passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 4, 2016. He was born February 28, 1943 in Portland, Oregon to Laurence L. and Esther Burr. The Burr family moved to Roseburg from Portland in 1946. Larry graduated from Roseburg High School and attended Oregon State University. He served in the US Army. Larry owned and operated L. L. Burr Logging for many years. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing and hunting. Survivors include his wife of 41 years Pam Burr; daughters Laurie Hickman and her husband Randy, Natlie Dees and her husband Don, Lindsay Dewart and her husband Bob and Stacey Ellis; son Scott Pyle and Karrie; grandchildren Zach, Rachel, Jessica, Dominic, Antony, Mikie, Haydan, Courtney and Huston; nephew Mike Madsen and his wife Selina. Larry will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
