Dale Alan Ellenwood

Dale served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. After his military service he worked and resided in Beaverton, Oregon where he met and married his wife, Joanne, in 1976.

Dale enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life like Ham radio, flying small aircraft, golf, gardening, and photography. Dale spent much of his time volunteering with his church running sound, opening his home to children he would watch for friends, and being helpful to family.

Dale Alan Ellenwood, 77, of Roseburg, Oregon passed away in the early morning hours Friday, June 19, 2026 surrounded by loved ones at home. Dale, the oldest of 4 siblings, was born in Roseburg, Oregon to Robert and Ruth Ellenwood on November 24, 1948.

Dale is survived by his wife of 49 years, 5 children, 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren plus one on the way, and siblings Larry Ellenwood(Candace) and Sharon Stone. Dale was preceded in death by his sister, Julie Brizendine.

A memorial service with military honors will be held August 10, 2026 at 11:00 am, Roseburg National Cemetery, 1770 W Harvard Ave., followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:30 pm, Winston Assembly of God Church, 360 SE Darrell Ave.
