Avoughn Webb

December 24, 1940 - May 22, 2025

Avoughn Webb, age 84, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025, in Roseburg, Oregon.

Born on December 24, 1940, in Hobbs New Mexico, Avoughn was the third of six children. Avoughn was preceded in death by her siblings Roger Cook, Alice Calendar, Charlene Akonia, and Margaret Enriquez. She is survived by her brother, Clinton Cook.

She lived most of her life in California, where she raised her son as a single mother. She was a Baptist, and her faith was a quiet, steady presence throughout her life. She dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for over 30 years-a true reflection of her compassionate and selfless spirit.

Avoughn was known for her love of crossword puzzles and her talent for crafts. She spent many joyful hours quilting and creating intricate cross-stitch pieces, leaving behind beautiful reminders of her creativity and patience.

She is survived by her beloved son, Joe Webb, and daughter-in-law, Colleen Webb. She also leaves behind two cherished grandchildren, Samantha Boucher and Danielle Gates, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren who will carry her memory forward with love.

Avoughn's warmth, quiet strength, deep faith, and enduring kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She will be cremated, and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Avoughn's memory by spending time with your loved ones or enjoying a quiet moment of reflection-perhaps with a crossword puzzle in hand.
