Erma Samarron

November 15, 1919 - January 6, 2011

Erma Samarron passed away on January 6, 2011 in Bainbridge, Washington. She was born November 15, 1919 to Usidro and Petra (Valle) Maldonado in Uvade, Texas. In 1936 she married Felix Samarron and they moved to Sutherlin area where they raised their three children. Erma was very active in the church and enjoyed cooking, cleaning, shopping and being with her many friends. She was always dressed to the "9's". Erma is preceded in death by her husband Felix in 1973, son, Richard, sister, Beatrice Smith, brother, Frank Maldonado and great grand child, Dustin Davis. Survivors include her daughter Patsy Chandler of Bainbridge Island, Washington, son, Felix Samarron, of Ashland, Oregon, grandchildren, Doug Samarron and Tonia Renee Davis along with numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass was held on January 13, 2011 at St. Frances Xavier with interment at Roseburg Memorial Gardens.
